Canon advanced digital photocopiers are feature rich and offer outstanding image quality. The copiers use digital technology to ensure that each printed document is faithfully reproduced exactly as you intended. Dual and quad beam lasers produce pin sharp, accurate text and crisp blacks for a professional finish every time.
Colour photocopiers render images smoothly to give a full spectrum of perfect colour, essential for todays demanding business environment. The Canon C1+ now features an additional clear toner which allows for even greater creativity, enabling spot varnishing and gloss highlighting effects, whilst the new imageRUNNER Advance range represent a huge leap forward in office technology.

How much power does a modern photocopier use? The answer is very little in standby. Most Canon machines have a standby rating of approx 3W which is considerably less than many other machines on the market which have ratings of 60W or more. The power consumption naturally goes up as the copier wakes up and runs. Power consumption may reach a maximum of between 2.5KW and 3.5KW if functions such as staplers etc are used.
Your copies and prints are carbon offset with our Click & Plant green plan option. We provide a unique service by planting trees which will absorb the CO2 created by the power station that supplied the electricity for your machine.
Carbon offsets for your copier
The carbon footprint of your copier will depend on the amount it is used, we plant trees based on the usage of your machine so the more you use it , the more trees are planted. Every copy or print is recorded on a meter - we use this meter to calculate how many trees to plant on your behalf. Offset calculations are based on the CO2 emissions created by coal fired power stations and we plant 4 trees for every tonne of CO2 emitted.
A power station that uses coal to generate electricity is releasing hundreds of tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere every day. This Carbon Dioxide was absorbed by the plants and organisms that lived millions of years ago and by releasing all this locked up greenhouse gas we are changing the way the planet absorbs heat from the sun. The result is climate change, and by planting trees you will be taking a leading role in the fight to reduce its impact
Tree planting projects in Devon woodland
The trees that are planted as carbon offsets for your printing start their lives as seeds gathered from native woodland in Devon. The seeds and oak acorns are planted in a local nursery where they grow for three years into saplings. The young trees are then transplanted into their new home where they will grow to maturity, taking in Carbon Dioxide and fixing it into their cells through photosynthesis. The saplings are weeded and staked to give them a good start in life and cared for to ensure that they grow into healthy new forests.
A variety of different species are planted which creates a good mix of trees that are suited to the region and climate. The mix can change depending on the location but would typically include Oak, Holly or Hawthorn etc. This creates a biodivers environment where they will thrive and encourage other wildlife to settle.
Come and join us for a morning of fun and planting!
Our planting partner - Carbon Projects - offer corporate and educational planting field trips, so feel free to put on your wellies and visit the place your trees will call home. The field trips are hosted by specialists in this subject and can provide education sessions as part of the national curriculum for school children from as young as 6 up to University age. The students will learn about trees and forests, photosynthesis and plant biology and the older students will have the opportunity to discuss topics such as CO2 absorption.
Corporate guests will enjoy a welcome field breakfast with coffee and bacon rolls followed by some "hands on" fun including planting some of your trees and other entertaining activities. A host will be with you throuought the session to look after you and your team and to facilitate the day. All visits can be tailored to your requirements and can be customised to suit your objectives. The whole point of the session is to have a bit of fun, roll up your sleeves and enjoy watching your colleagues getting their hands dirty!
